How to use
  • Ovex Mebendazole Tablets are typically used for treating and preventing worm infections. Follow these steps to use this medication:
  • Take the tablet by mouth with water. It can be taken with or without food.
  • The dosage depends on your medical condition and how well you respond to treatment. It ranges from one single dose to several doses spread over a few days.
  • For children between 2 and 10 years, chew the tablet before swallowing.
  • If the infection is not cleared up within 3 weeks, inform your healthcare provider.

Side Effects:
  • Rare side effects can occur including rash, hair loss or liver problems.
  • May cause upset stomach, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea.
  • If used for a long period of time, mebendazole can result in anemia or a decrease in white blood cells.
  • May cause headache, dizziness or increased liver enzymes.
  • Consult doctor if pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medication.
  • Do not exceed recommended dosage without doctor's advice.
  • Patients with liver disease or poor liver function should use this medication cautiously.
