How to use
- Before you use Nurofen for Children Ibuprofen Orange Oral Suspension, shake the bottle thoroughly. Using the provided measuring spoon, give the appropriate dose based on your child’s age and weight:
- - For children aged 3 to 6 months weighing more than 5kg, the usual dose is 2.5ml of the suspension, given three times in 24 hours.
- - For children aged 6 to 12 months, give 2.5ml three to four times in 24 hours.
- - For children aged 1 to 3 years, give 5ml three times in 24 hours.
- - For children aged 4 to 6 years, give 7.5ml (5ml + 2.5ml) three times in 24 hours.
- - For children aged 7 to 9 years, give 10ml (5ml + 5ml) three times within 24 hours.
- It's recommended to give the doses approximately every 6 to 8 hours, or with a minimum gap of 4 hours if needed.
- If symptoms persist, get worse, or new symptoms appear within 24 hours, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- This product is for short term use only. Do not give this product to babies aged 3-6 months for longer than 24 hours. For children aged 6 months and above, do not use for longer than 3 days.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
