How to use
- The Benylin Infants Cough Syrup is for use in babies and children aged 3 months to 5 years.
- Shake the bottle well before each use to make sure the medicine is thoroughly mixed.
- Using the syringe provided, the recommended dose for children aged 3 months to 1 year is 2.5ml (half a 5ml spoonful) up to 3-4 times a day.
- For children aged 1-5 years, the recommended dose is 5ml (one 5ml spoonful) up to 3-4 times a day.
- Do not use more than the recommended dose in 24 hours. Allow at least 4 hours between each dose.
- Do not give your child this medicine if they have already taken four doses in any 24-hour period.
- Always rinse the syringe after each use and ensure it is properly dried before storage.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Always read the product label and patient information leaflet before use. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
