How to use
  • Before use, wash your hands thoroughly.
  • Apply a small amount of Voltarol Back & Muscle Pain Relief 1.16% Gel to the affected area.
  • Gently massage the gel into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
  • After application, wash your hands again, unless they are the site being treated.
  • This process can typically be repeated 3-4 times a day. However, do not apply more than 4 times in any 24-hour period.
  • Leave at least 4 hours between applications.
  • Do not use on broken or irritated skin and avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. If the gel gets into the eyes, rinse with clean water and seek medical help immediately.
  • If symptoms don't improve after 7 days, or get worse, contact your doctor.

Side Effects:
  • Avoid eye contact: Keep Voltarol Gel away from the eyes. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Allergic reaction: Stop using if you notice symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as skin rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
  • Prolonged use: Do not use Voltarol Gel for a longer period than recommended by your doctor. Long-term use may increase the risk of adverse effects.
  • Skin irritation: Some users may experience redness, itching or skin irritation where the gel is applied.
  • Asthma flare-up: People with asthma should take caution as it might worsen their symptoms.
  • Avoid use on broken skin or on mucous membranes: Voltarol Gel should only be applied to intact, healthy skin, not used on wounds or damaged skin.
  • Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding: It might not be safe for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Consult your doctor first before using this medication.
  • Interaction with other medication: Always let your doctor know about other medications you are using, to avoid any harmful interactions.
