Chickenpox Vaccine

Our chickenpox vaccine service is dedicated to protecting you and your loved ones from the common but uncomfortable illness caused by the varicella-zoster virus. The chickenpox vaccine offers protection for those who haven’t had chickenpox before. It’s a preventive measure designed for convenience and effectiveness.

Two doses complete the vaccination course and a booster is not necessary after completing the initial two doses. The vaccine is administered as an injection, typically in the upper arm. It is suitable for individuals from the age of 9 months to 65 years and is especially recommended for those who haven’t had chickenpox. The vaccine is not advisable for pregnant women or those planning a pregnancy. It can be administered alongside the MMR vaccine, or a 4-week gap should be maintained between them.
