How to use
- Wash your hands before and after using Anusol Plus Hc Suppositories.
- To use the suppository, first remove it from its packaging.
- Avoid handling the suppository too long or it may melt in your hands due to body heat.
- Lie on your side with your lower leg straightened out and your upper leg bent forward toward your stomach.
- Gently push the suppository (narrow end first) into your rectum with your finger, about 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) in infants and children and 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) in adults.
- Stay lying down for a few minutes. The suppository will melt quickly once inserted and you should feel little or no discomfort while holding it in.
- Do not use more than prescribed dose of this medicine, and not more than once in 24 hours.
- If you resist the urge to empty your bowel after using the suppository, it could start to create urging again.
