How to use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application.
- Unwrap the suppository.
- Lie on your side with your lower leg straightened out and your upper leg bent forward toward your stomach.
- Lift up your upper buttock to expose the rectal area.
- Apply a small amount of lubrication (such as petroleum jelly) on the end of the suppository if needed.
- Push the suppository, pointed end first, gently into your rectum.
- Hold the buttocks together for a few seconds to ensure it stays in place.
- Stay lying down for about 15 minutes to avoid the suppository from coming out.
- Do not use more than directed, typically up to 3 times a day or as advised by your healthcare provider.
- Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a doctor.
